Rome GA Pride is thrilled to invite you to our inaugural Big Gay 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk, happening on Saturday, March 1st, 2025, at 9:00 AM at Ridge Ferry Park! This is more than just a race—it’s a celebration of community, inclusivity, and love. All funds raised support Rome Pride and help us continue creating safe and affirming spaces for our LGBTQIA+ community.

Sign up now and guarantee your race T-shirt by registering before Wednesday, February 20th. Registration remains open until Sunday, February 23rd, but shirt sizes cannot be guaranteed after the early deadline.

Race Route: A scenic, USATF-certified 5K course along the beautiful Oostanaula River Trails

10:15 AM - 5K Awards Presentation

Awards will be given to the top overall male, female, and nonbinary finishers, plus winners in multiple age categories. While the 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk is untimed, everyone is a winner when you show up and support Pride!
